Green Citrus-Woody Fragrance SENSE OF HUMOR, by STATE OF MIND

.

SENSE OF HUMOR is a green citrus-woody perfume, created for STATE OF MIND by the famous nose Karine Dubreuil. Symbolic of a jovial, euphoric and energetic state of mind, it is expressed by Citrus. Its illustration is inspired by the frantic dynamism of Charleston. This dance recalls the aesthetics of the Roaring Twenties and the Art Deco style of the house.

.

Its top notes of Peach, Blackcurrant Leaf and Mandarin bring a very charming first impression. It is invigorated by the energetic and stimulating citrus notes of Cedrat, Maté and Darjeeling. The base notes add depth to this green citrus-woody perfume, thanks to Cedarwood. A final touch of Coriander surprises the sense of smell by a green accord nuanced by Musk.

.

The Citrus family has its origins in the famous Eau de Cologne. Considered the first modern perfume, created in 1709 by the Italian perfumer Jean-Marie Farina. It was originally made from a blend of citrus essential oils. Lemon, sweet orange, bergamot and grapefruit are key ingredients in citrus fragrances.

.

Since its creation, Eau de Cologne has become an olfactory family in its own right. Characterized by the use of citrus essential oils, it is a light, refreshing and invigorating scent.

.

Citrus fragrances have evolved since their first appearance. Today Eau de Cologne have a wider palette of ingredients to create more complex and sophisticated fragrances. They continue to incorporate the citrus notes to give them their refreshing and sparkling character.
